Glimsin Kesän kirjapäivä järjestetään sunnuntaina 16.8. Talomuseo Glimsin pihalla. Tämän vuoden teemana kirjapäivässä on Vaalimisen arvoinen. Se on myös Euroopan kulttuuriympäristöpäivien teemana. Lisäksi Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö on nimennyt vuoden 2026 kotimaisten kielten teemavuodeksi.
